Ceremonies will be held in New York City and Albany this year to commemorate the third anniversary of the September 11th attacks. Parents and grandparents will read the names of victims at Ground Zero Saturday morning and the ""Tribute in Light"" will again shine at sundown. There will also be four moments of silence to mark the times when each plane hit the towers and the times that each tower fell. In Albany, a remembrance concert will be held at the Empire State Plaza.
A statewide moment of silence will be observed at 8:46 Eastern time. Houses of worship are being encouraged to toll their bells at that time.

(9/11 테러 3주년 추도식이 뉴욕시와 알바니에서 거행된다. 추도식 당일 아침에는 희생자 부모와 조부모가 세계무역센터(WTC)의 터인 그라운드 제로에서 숨진 자녀와 손자, 손녀의 이름을 일일이 부를 예정이며 저녁에는 무너진 쌍둥이 빌딩을 상징하는 두 개의 빛이 밝혀질 예정이다. 또한 피랍 비행기 두 대가 WTC 쌍둥이 건물에 충돌하고 두 건물이 붕괴된 순간을 기리기 위해 4번의 묵념을 하게 된다. 알바니에 있는 엠파이어 스테이트 빌딩 플라자에서는 추모 음악회가 개최된다. 미 전역에 걸친 묵념은 동부 표준시로 8시46분에 시작될 것으로 보이며. 예배당에서는 같은 시각 종을 울릴 예정이다.)
